We at InterLanguage can offer you Swedish language trainings specially designed for healthcare professionals. Our school has more than 10 years of experience in the field of medical language training. A large number of doctors and nurses from more than 25 countries have attended our courses so far. In order to achieve long-term employment within the Swedish healthcare system, you have to possess a Swedish medical licence (legitimation). This licence is issued by a Swedish authority called Socialstyrelsen. Speaking Swedish at advanced (C1) level is one of the requirements you have to fulfill. For other requirements click here.
Once you have completed one of our language trainings leading up to level C1, you will be given a certificate that you can use in the
application process. In the past years all applicants who have learnt in our school and
submitted our certificate to Socialstyrelsen have been acknowledged as competent speakers of the Swedish language and received their Swedish medical licence.
